No kidding. This is one of the best programs I found for filtering inappropriate content from your computer. All you need to do is click http://www.k9webprotection.com/license.jsp, fill out the form, and then check your E-mail for the license and download instructions.
The software works by actively scanning the incoming web sites, and then displaying a warning page when you’ve reached a page that is blocked by K9 Web Protection. At this point, you have the option of overriding the block with your administrator password. By default the program blocks social networking site such as myspace.com and facebook.com. If you decide to allow these sites, you can choose whether to allow permanently, or for a short time (15 minutes).
Even Google searches are filtered, including image searches. The program also detects “anonymous browsing” sites, that can bypass other web filters.
