See Websites as if You were Colorblind
Tuesday, March 25th, 2008I was designing a website lately and wondered if what I was creating could be viewed properly by my Dad, who happens to be red-green colorblind. He could never find those bright, neon orange golf balls on the fairway - so I had to point them out for him. So I was curious what he actually sees when he views the pages I have designed. So I did some searching and found the “Color Blind Web Page Filter”. Just plug in the web page you’d like to view, then select the type of colorblindness filter you want (I don’t really know the differences or which is most common, but I assume the default is the most common). Fun to play with, but also interesting to consider when designing accessible web pages.
